PPA Lauch of the Year 2012 – Hunger Magazine

The Hunger is a biannual magazine from photographer and independent publisher, Rankin. Launched in November 2011

The plan was simple.  We would create the biggest and the most beautiful magazine on the news stand today.  We would then make it easily available across the globe by investing in retail schemes with the worlds largest magazine retailers to build sales and create massive availability.  We used our specialist networks to ensure awareness with key opinion formers and taste makers.     We would then use our extensive marketing networks to target the worlds elusive fashion, creative and literary market sector.  We built an outdoor campaign in multiple territories in order to gain public awareness.  Working with the in house PR teams we developed extensive press across the globe.  We launched it globally at a highly competitive rate.

Working with the best trading partners in the world has resulted in a truly inspirational brand launch. Proving it is still possible to successfully  launch an independent luxury magazines for a new generation of aspirational readers across the globe.
